I am the founder behind Creative Overtime. What started as an outlet for sharing my passion for capturing beautiful moments, Creative Overtime turned into a full time adventure. Creative Overtime exists as a home to my original works of art and creative guides to help you along your own creative journey!
If you’re new around here, I’m Kelly! Nice to meet you! I am a fine artist and photographer. My work includes original artwork in watercolor, gouache and charcoal, photography, and prints.
I am currently located on the East Coast; New Jersey, to be exact. But I spent three years living in Helsinki, Finland. I founded my art business while I was working as an architect and needed a more creative outlet. Art, photography, and sketching became my outlet for all my emotions, dreams, and energy. I started by doing one sketch or watercolor a day and just fell in love with art all over again.
When I’m not working or creating you can find me hanging out at home with my husband Remi or friends, getting outside on an adventure with our rescue dog Buddy-Tom, or I’m probably sipping espresso or wine if it’s a Friday night. I’ve watched my artistic skills grow with practice and am now letting you in on all my techniques and creative tips I do that brighten my days!
I am currently working on my summer collection which consists of fine art inspired by built places in the landscape, abstract lines & beautiful summer botanical scenes. If you want to a custom work email me I am happy to create a landscape, abstract or botanical painting just for you.

Lefty or righty: I paint and draw with both hands (mainly a lefty with writing)

What does creative overtime mean to me?
Creative Overtime is about turning curiosity into something beautiful that you can be proud of. It won’t happen overnight. Getting creative is a commitment that takes focus and some repetition. I believe that everyone is creative and I founded Creative Overtime based on that thought.
